EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 05/17/24
Name: Todd
Animal ID: A837372
Age: 1 year 1 month
Weight: 56.40 lbs.
About: Meet Todd, he is a young, dashing shepherd mix needing to find placement with a foster or an adopter before 3pm 05/17/24. Todd is currently being treated for a common doggy cold (URI Upper Respiratory Infection). Todd can leave the shelter before he has been cleared from his cold with medications but will need to be kept separate from other animals until he has finished his medications and no longer has symptoms.

Todd came to the shelter as a stray with an injury to his hind leg on 04/25/24. He has been treated for the wound and is healing nicely. When Todd came into the shelter, he was jumpy, excited, and super friendly. In the short time that Todd has spent in the shelter he has started to decline, he was also involved in an altercation with a dog he was kenneled with that resulted in severe injuries to the other dog.

Todd was introduced to other dogs after the incident, he initiated play and was rough and rowdy at times and had other dogs on edge with his energy. He did respect it when other dogs would ask for space from him, and he would walk away.

Todd is looking for a home where he can get lots of walks and love from his people. He will need to meet any dogs he will be living with to be sure that they will be a good match for each other. Unfortunately, while he is being treated for his doggy cold, he won’t be able to meet dogs so he would need to be kept separate and have a proper introduction once he is no longer sick. Any potential adopter or foster that doesn’t have other dogs can meet Todd at his kennel.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Todd, please come to PACC and meet with one of our counselors to go over his history and then go to his kennel to meet him there. You MUST come to PACC before 3pm on 05/17/24.
