Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Sheila is an energetic girl who lived in a home for most of her young life. She was housebroken in that home and her former people described her as affectionate and playful. She loves toys, knows tricks, and does well in the car. Here’s what volunteers have said:

“Sheila is a darling, laid-back pup who loves treats which she takes gently. We took her and her kennelmate to a yard where she engaged in lots of exploring. She warmed up and thoroughly enjoyed being petted.”

“Sheila is a nice girl. We walked by noisy toy boats on the lake, and she didn’t even seem to notice. I sat under a tree with her. She was vigilant about scanning her surroundings and watching birds but did wag her tail and accept attention when I called to her. She sat nicely for treats and took them gently from my hand.”

Sheila shares her kennel with another PACC pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. She isn’t a fan of sharing her food (me either!), so needs a space of her own where she can eat her meals. She may also do best in a home without cats or other small pets. Ask about Sheila today!
