RESCUE ONLY DEADLINE 3PM 04/20/24
Name: Lionel
Animal ID: A828997
Age: 5 years
Weight: 50 lbs.
About: Meet Lionel, the short stack love bug is looking for a FUR-EVER home! Lionel that must find placement with a partnered rescue group by 3pm on April 20 ,2024
Lionel first found himself here at PACC after APS officers picked him up from living in poor conditions with 20 other dogs. Since then, he went into a foster home where he was learning to live in a proper home. He loved his foster parents and would get jealous, and Recourse guard his foster parents from their resident dog. His resource guarding did result in an altercation where the foster parent had to step in, and Lionel did unfortunately bite his foster parent.
Here at the shelter Lionel is easy going with other dogs and loves hanging out with our staff and volunteers, he is a nervous guy so quick movements do tend to startle him. He loves pets and treats and he just wants to cuddle with his loved ones. He walks well on leash and over all just loves his people! Lionel also has medical that will require medications but has already shown improvements since being on medication.
If you think the wonderful couch potato that is Lionel; come on down to PACC! All potential adopters MUST meet him before adopting!
