Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Daniel is a super sweet boy who came to PACC after a run in with an automobile. He had a leg amputated, but that won’t slow him down one bit! In fact, after a brief stay in a foster home, his foster said that Daniel has great puppy energy and enjoys playing. Who needs all four legs anyway, amiright? In his foster home Daniel did well older kids (8+), was playful and curious about the resident cats, and did fine with the resident large dog. He seemed to be housebroken (regular potty breaks and time to adjust to a new environment are important), and was described as a bouncy, cuddly lap dog. He also reportedly did great at the groomer and was very patient and tolerant during his bath. Daniel rides well in the car too- he hasn’t held any grudges against the automobile species!

In a second foster home Daniel was described as super cuddly and friendly and “such a sweet boy”. He definitely still has lots of puppy energy and loves to run around and look for mischief! Keeping this boy busy and giving him structure and routine will help him be the very goodest of boys! Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said about Daniel:

“Daniel was easy to leash and we went to a play yard with he and his kennelmate. They had a couple of rough and rowdy play sessions and were fun to watch. Daniel was easy to handle, very treat motivated, sat for treats and took them gently, and was very affectionate. A really nice and sweet guy.”

Daniel shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful, social, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. This terrific tripod is ready to head home with you today! Ask to meet him!!
