Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Caspian is a handsome boy who was found as a stray and stayed with is finder for several days before coming to the shelter. They said that he did well with kids in the home and with small dogs. Here’s what his volunteer friends have said about him:

“Caspian is a very nice boy. He walks well on leash and is always happy and excited to be out of his kennel. He has bursts of energy and a silly, goofy personality. He enjoys being petted and is just a very good boy all around.”

“Caspian was easy to leash and we went to a play yard. He was sweet and easy. He was sniffing around, not interested in treats but really appreciative of getting petted. He absolutely loves to have his face rubbed.”

“Caspian was patient being leashed. I thought he might enjoy running around in the yard, and he did! After that we went on a walk- he’s young, energetic, and needs exercise. Friendly and affectionate.”

“First time walking Caspian. He was calm in his kennel and very easy to leash. He walked really nicely with bursts of wanting to run and allowed petting. I look forward to walking him again!”

When meeting other dogs in playgroup Caspian was a bit social and mainly kept to himself. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Caspian today!
