Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Aslan is a striking young boy with a velveteen coat and a very long, extra boopable snoot! He came to the shelter when his person could no longer care for him and is hoping to be back in a home soon. Maybe you can help him out with that!? Aslan is a friendly, outgoing boy who loves his daily walks and spending time with his favorite people. Here’s what some of his friends at the shelter have said:

“Aslan was easy to leash and leave the kennel area with. He was a wonderful walking buddy and I think he would also make an awesome hiking buddy. He went potty and did lots of sniffing as we walked. He was unbothered by the loud noises around the lake and made good eye contact with me as we walked. He is such a handsome boy. Awesome dog.”

“I met Aslan for the first time, and he was such a nice dog! He was not jumpy at all and was easy to leash. He was very eager to go for a walk. Aslan was comfortable with my petting his head and body and took treats gently from my hand. He liked to sniff around as we walked along. His good behavior was rewarded with treats when we returned to his kennel.”

When meeting other dogs in playgroup Aslan has been social, tolerant, and playful. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Aslan today!!
