Meet Sheen (no relation to Charlie)! Sheen is a handsome boy with the cutest round-tipped, perky ears. He was found as a stray and was brought to the shelter by his finder. Sheen is learning to trust his staff and volunteer friends and is building more confidence every day. Sheen LOVES toys and swears he doesn’t know how they end up in pieces- spontaneous combustion!! Strong chew toys are must for Sheen in his future home!

Sheen spent a couple of weeks in a foster home where he settled in after an initial adjustment period. He did well with housetraining and was a quiet houseguest. Sheen needs a family who will help him continue to build confidence as he learns about life in home. Here’s what his volunteer friends have said:

“First time meeting Sheen this week and he was very nice. I took a minute to introduce myself with treats which he took from my hand. He's very calm and didn't react to other dogs or pull on leash. We explored different parts of the park which he enjoyed.”

“Sheen was calm in kennel and easy to leash. He was a very nice walking buddy and had no interest in other dogs we saw in the park. I knelt down to the ground and he immediately approached for affection. He was sweet and mellow as I gave him neck and chest scratches. He did some very cute play bows and zoomies after I pet him. Very sweet boy, great walker!”

When meeting other dogs in playgroup, Sheen has been playful and easygoing. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Sheen today!!
