Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Oswald is a super handsome big brindle boy who lived on one home his whole life prior to being surrendered to the shelter. He was housebroken and crate trained in his prior home and was described by his people as an independent kind of guy. He walks well on leash and loves to take plenty of time to sniff along the way. Here’s what volunteers at the shelter have said about him:

“Oswald is a gentle giant- easy to handle and doesn't pull on leash. I took him out late the in morning and his neighbors were barking, but Oswald was nice and calm. He was curious about other people and animals in the park but did not bark and enjoyed being pet. He's a sweet boy.”

“I walked handsome Oswald today. He was a perfect gentleman. Easy to leash, didn’t pull (even when we happened on a colony of rabbits, which he just watched with mild interest). He sat when asked and took treats gently. I love this boy.”

“Oswald has a remarkable zest for life. He is so excited to go on a walk, but he settles into a nice gentle walk once we`re outside. He`s friendly and has a ready smile for any fans who greet him. He`s excited to receive praise and pets, and enjoys sniffing and exploring on his walks.”

During his most recent playgroup evaluation with other dogs, Oswald was tolerant, social, and easygoing. A meet and greet with any resident dogs is always a great idea! Oswald also enjoys dipping his toes in the doggy pool, so if you have a pool, he’ll pack his floaties!

Oswald will benefit from enrichment and training in his future home and from slow introductions to new people. Please ask to meet this handsome hunk today!
