If you’ve read The Great Gatsby, you know it’s about the pursuit of the American dream. Well, our Gatsby has a dream too- he’s dreaming of a home and a family of his own! This sweetest of boys came to PACC in rough shape, with multiple wounds in need of vet care. He’s been very brave and a model patient- and now he’s ready to leave the shelter behind! Here's what one volunteer said about him:

“Instantly fell in love with this boy today. He was very easy to leash and we went to a yard along with his kennel mate. Gatsby has obviously had a rough first four years of his life, but he is still so sweet and social. He did his business and then spent the rest of the time by my side, accepting affection while leaning in for more. He was quiet, mellow, and very respectful. He shared affection well with his kennel mate too. He also took treats very nicely from my hand.”

Gatsby was found as a stray and really deserves a stable future as a cherished family member. He’s beloved by staff and volunteers alike and seems to want nothing more than affection and kindness. Gatsby has shared his kennel with other PACC pups and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Gatsby today!!
