Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Not to go too far down the rabbit hole, but Alice has found herself in Wonderland… as in, she’s wondering when she’ll find her forever family. Alice is a tad on the shy side, and sometimes seems like she’d like to shrink herself down to a teeny tiny version of herself. With a bit of love though, we know she’ll blossom and feel ten times as big! Here’s what one volunteer said about her:

“I took Alice to the yard today. She was a bit shy when leashing up but walked nicely. Initially, she was keeping to herself and exploring and sniffing around the yard. Eventually she approached me- I began to pet her head with soft strokes and I could see her body relax. She will blossom with some love.”

Alice would like to find a quiet home with a bowl of kibble that says “eat me” and dish of cool fresh water that says “drink me”. She’d love a family who will include her in their daily lives (and games of croquet of course). Alice has been tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup and may benefit from a calm confident friend to show her the ropes in her future home. Please ask to meet Alice today!!
