Shadow is a big sweet baked puptato who would love to find a home today! She lived in one home her entire life before coming to the shelter where she was housebroken and used a doggy door and had a big comfy chair that she loved to sleep in. During a brief adoption she was again housebroken and was well- behaved when left home alone. Her adopter described her as affectionate and said she is always by your side and is a very good girl.

“Gosh, Shadow is such a fantastic dog! She is sweet and friendly, and
seems to trust her humans quickly. She’s excited to go on her walk, and once out, settles very easily into walking by your side with a big smile on her face. She will also wait politely by your side if you pause.”
“Shadow is a sweet girl and a great walking partner!! She walked with a loose leash and had a big smile on her face the whole time. She enjoyed sniffing and observing her surroundings as we walked through the park.”
“Shadow was a VGG (very good girl) on our outing yesterday. We took her and her kennelmate to a yard and she walked well, then explored a bit, enjoyed some petting, and took some treats. Got along well with her roomie and despite the heat she had some pep in her step. Sweet girl.”
“I love this sweet lady! I’ve been taking her to small playgroups with a few other dogs and she mostly keeps to herself but is polite and well- adjusted. We got caught in a yard during a sudden hailstorm, and Shadow and two other dogs and myself hunkered down together. Shadow nuzzled her snoot into me and waited out the storm. She is just so sweet!”
Shadow has had a variety of roommates while at the shelter and has even become a helper dog, assisting staff to evaluate other dogs. She’s social, tolerant, and easygoing. No small dogs please! Ask to meet Shadow today!!
