Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Honeydew is one of the sweetest fruits at the farmer’s market, and also one of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet!! This lovely little lady came to PACC as a stray and has won everyone over with her bouncy, happy personality. And it sure doesn’t hurt that she’s cute as a button!! Honeydew came to PACC with a bit of a hitch in her giddy up and was diagnosed with Valley Fever. Now that she’s on the right medication, she’s ready to head home and start living the rest of her life!

Honeydew spent a bit of time in one foster home and her foster said the following:

“She is a very mellow dog and we think she enjoys the couch potato life!”

In another foster home Honeydew did great with kids of all ages, even babies. She was well- behaved when left alone, housebroken, and was described as sweet, affectionate, and playful. Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“Honeydew is a great walker- she checks in constantly does a little sniffing around. She knows sit, paw, down and likes to play fetch. She also does an adorable army crawl.Honeydew is affectionate and makes good eye contact, takes treats gently and is a great walking companion. Sweet lady!”

Honeydew would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit and is looking for a home without cats. Ask to meet Honeydew today!!
