Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
If you’ve seen the movie Step Brothers, you know all about the rivalry turned best friendship between Brennan and Dale. Well, our Brennan and his brother Dale were best pals too, and just as goofy and entertaining! But, Dale has found his forever home and now Brennan has been left without a wingman. This big boy would love to find a new best friend- you!!

During a brief adoption, Brennan was described as a calm dog who did great meeting new people. His adopters said he’s a quick learner who could use some help on basic manners, and that he is a super loving boy who sticks close to his people at all times. Brennan isn’t a huge fan of being alone for long periods, so he’d love to find a family where someone is around to keep him company.

In another home Brennan was a quiet boy who only barked in excitement during play time, loved meeting new people, and was housebroken on a regular potty schedule. He did well with young kiddos, loves toys and wants nothing more than to be close to his humans. Here’s what his volunteer pals have said:

“I have always had a soft spot for big Brennan. He loves to tell me how excited he is to go for a walk and that makes him even more special to me. Brennan has become more affectionate with me lately. He will snuggle up to me and wants more touch. I love to see this softer side of Brennan. He's a guy that makes me laugh cause there is just something about him that makes him such a little character. A fave of mine for sure!”

“Brennan is a lively strong pup that is a little shy at first. He's getting better with touch and enjoys a good game of catch me if you can. He's starting to learn that face rubs and ear scritches are pretty awesome, but also likes to tell you about his day in the talkative way only Brennan can do. Patience and some TLC and you will quickly be BFFs!”

“Brennan is very smart and treat motivated! He is such an intelligent, exuberant young dog. He will make an outstanding companion for an active person willing to put in the time to train him. “

“Brennan is a handsome guy and he knows it! He can be a bit nervous in new situations, but he takes his cues from his person and settles in quickly. He takes treats nicely. He’s looking for a peaceful home where he can decompress from stressful shelter life and gain some confidence with his new person/family. He is a big boy with a big heart to match.”

“Brennan is always excited to go out. He barks in excitement as if to say “Hurry up, let’s get going!” He's also very treat - motivated and once he knows you have them, he's your friend for life. Brennan warms up with treats and enjoys affection. He is such a handsome big guy and has been a great kennelmate to other dogs. Brennan will be a loyal companion, I have no doubt.”

Brennan shares his kennel politely and goes to playgroup with other PACC pups most days of the week. He’s been social, playful, appropriate, and tolerant when meeting other dogs. Ask to meet Brennan today and you’ll be asking him “Did we just become best friends?!?” The answer is yes!
