Blaze is a sweet boy who just isn’t cut out for shelter life. I mean… who is?? In fact, he’d like to leave PACC behind in a blaze of glory! Here’s what his volunteer fans have said about him: “I learned something new about Blaze yesterday- he likes to cuddle! Like all his usual walks, he was busy sniffing all the good smells. When I squatted down to pet him, he stopped what he was doing immediately and leaned against me. I massaged his ears, chest, and butt. I always knew he was sweet, and now he's officially a cuddler!” “Blaze is a sweet guy. Although he was a little headshy, he was easy to leash, and we headed out. Once away from the noisy kennels, he really relaxed outside. We went into the play yard and once I sat down, Blaze immediately came over and rubbed his side against my legs for pets. He was really happy to get affection--he definitely seems used to being around people and seems like he is a sensitive guy. Very endearing personality and easy to bring back to his kennel.” “Blaze is a sweet and chill pup who walks nicely on leash. He's very interested in sniffing in the park. I gave him lots of pets and he enjoyed that.” “Blaze is always such a sweet boy. He enjoys his walks, but lives for snuggles back in his kennel. He’s come a long way from the shy guy he was when he first arrived!” Blaze is looking for a family who will help him continue to build confidence and who will be patient with him as he adjusts to a new environment. He’d like to meet all members of the family before heading home. When meeting other dogs in playgroup Blaze has been playful, though he can be a bit of a bulldozer, so an intro with any resident dogs is recommended. Pease ask to meet Blaze today! |
