EMERGENCY PLACMENT DEADLINE 3PM 05/03/24

Name: Chain
Animal ID: A750749
Age: 5 years
Weight: 74.40 lbs.

About: Meet Chain, he is a big, handsome boy looking to find placement with a foster or an adopter before 3pm on 05/03/24.

Chain first came to the shelter as a stray in July 2021, he found a foster the next month in August but was in and out of foster care until he found an adopter in October 2021. After spending the last 3 years in this home, Chain was returned to the shelter.

His previous owner said that he is a huge sweetheart, and they are sad to give him up. He is funny, gives the best cuddles and just the best emotional support dog ever. Unfortunately, Chain was having issues with the small dog in the home. From that home, we do know that Chain has had previous positive experience with cats, larger dogs, and kids! He is housebroken, a bit of a couch potato, though he does like to go for a hike or two when you are up for it too, and loves toys.

In the shelter Chain went to playgroups and did get to meet other dogs, he was easy going overall. Because of his history of having issues with other dogs while in a home, Chain will need to meet any dogs he would be going home with, to be sure it is a good fit.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Chain, you MUST come to PACC to speak with one of our counselors to go over all of his history and then meet Chain in a yard before 3pm 05/03/24.
