Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
B-Hop is easy to leash up in his kennel and seems to have had some previous house training as he uses the bathroom immediately when he gets outside, multiple times, which generally indicates he’s been “holding it”. Spending time with him is like hanging out with a new boyfriend who is obsessed with you, B-Hop lives for attention and will curl up in your lap and do the most adorable wiggles and snorts when he gets that attention! He does pull on leash, but seems to pull less so the longer he’s been outside and the more he realizes that if he’s close to you he might get the pets that he’s looking for! B-Hop saw another dog in the distance and showed that he was interested in saying hello by pulling toward the other dog and softly whining, but didn’t bark or lunge and could be easily redirected with treats. B-Hop takes treats gently with his large lips and seems to know “sit” and “wait” cues on command. He can get really excited when you get down on his level and would probably knock a small kid over with his wiggles and enthusiastic snuggles, but wasn’t jumpy or mouthy so could do well with older children.
