Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Chomper is a sweet senior citizen with the best personality. Friendly, calm, sweet and snuggly- what more can you ask for?? Here’s what one volunteer said about him:

“Chomper was fabulous in the yard. Solicited cuddling, knows sit, takes treats gently, and was affectionate and sweet.”

During a short stay in a foster home Chomper did well around other dogs, was crate trained, was easy to walk, and was described as friendly and loving. His foster said that he craves attention and loves to be near his people. Chomper knows how to use a doggy door but needs to be given a little bit of time to learn the potty routine in a new home. Seems fair- he’s an old man and while you absolutely can teach an old dog new tricks, they deserve a bit of patience and guidance!!

Chomper shares his kennel politely with a furry friend and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’s looking for a home with no cats or other small pets. Ask to meet Chomper today!!
