05/02/24 17:16 In the kennel this dog is protective over her pups and will give a low growl. I offered her treats and she came up to the kennel door to take treats. We were able to leash her and take her outside. She was pacing outside and pulled toward the run where we left her puppies. She took treats nicely. She was non-reactive to other dogs in the yard passing by. dp 04/30/24 09:40 Reason animal needs rescue: Gave birth to litter of puppies, some behavioral concerns. Type: Behavior/Medical Date animal needs rescue by: ASAP Impound type: Stray Off stray hold: YES Additional notes: Gave birth this morning, protective over babies and shelter staff is unable to safely examine puppies due to behavior of dog.
