Reason animal needs rescue: Persistent lameness of left pelvic limb. Radiographs show history of FHO surgery, as well as suspected cruciate ligament rupture of LPL. P may need additional orthopedic surgery for best quality of life that is beyond shelter capacity at this time.

S: Limping on left rear leg

QAR-H. BCS 2-3/9
EENT - large amount of dark brown debris AD with mild thickening of pinna, clean AS, eyes/nose clear, mild/moderate calculus
Integument - clean full coat, no ectoparasites visualized.
CV/Resp - eupneic, lungs clear, normal heart sounds
GI/GU - intact male, abd normal
MS - Amb x 4, weight bearing lameness LPL; decreased extension of L hip, painful on palpation of left stifle, mod swelling of L tarsus; generalized muscle wasting of rear legs and pelvic region; drawer sign L stifle with mod stifle effusion
Neuro - no neurologic deficits
PLN -

A: Yeast otitis externa AD; Lameness LPL (prior FHO suspected)

P: Sedated with 0.7ml dexmed + 0.5ml torb IM.
Cleaned right ear with trizketo flush and instilled 1 tube claro AD

Radiographs (LPL) - missing head of L femur, healed pelvic fracture L acetabulum, dorsal displacement of patellar head with stifle effusion and remodeling of proximal tibia and distal femur suggestive of cruciate rupture.

CBC - no abnormal findings
Chem - no abnormal findings
SDMA - normal
T4 - normal

Plan to reassess L femur/revise FHO at time of castration, unless reclaimed prior.
