Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Today I: Met a new friend who took me on a car ride and then on a fun adventure!
The car was kind of high, so I needed a little help up, but then I settled right in.
While we drove, I put my face out the window so I could feel the wind on my face.
We stopped to get a Pup Cup - that was so yummy!
We went to Almaden Lake park where we went on a leisurely stroll.
I am an older gal, so I like to go pretty slow checking everything out and enjoying my stroll.
I saw lots of people, including little people, and dogs. I want to meet everyone that I see, but I am not really interested in other dogs.

I also really like treats and pets!
On the way back, I rested quietly in the back seat (I may have snoozed a bit too).
Three Words to Describe Me are: Happy - Sweet - Trusting
Notes from My Walker:
Sweet, Resilient Boo has obviously had it rough. Her skin is raw and itchy, her back and toes curved, her nails too long, her tail and ears mostly bare of any hair. She is also pretty skinny and really driven by food. I gave her small pieces of treats which she took gently.

Boo is still SO sweet and trusting!
Leaning in for pets even with her itchy skin. She was easy to put a harness on, staying still while I adjusted the straps. She jumped into the car with a little help (my car is high).
She walked calmly on leash, exploring the area and really never pulling. We covered about 2 miles over 2 hours, taking lots of rest breaks.

She is non reactive to other dogs and interacted nicely when we ran into another dog from the shelter.
She knows Sit.
On the ride back she took a nap.
She is listed as 9 years old, but could be older or younger, and is only about 40 pounds.
Boo could use a hero - someone who can give her proper care to get her skin under control. Someone to appreciate the beautiful girl she truly is. Someone to give her a cushy resting spot.
