Today I: went for a long hike at the Quick Silver County
Park, about four miles. I had great fun. My handler put
me on a long leash and let me roam along both sides of
the path. And there was so much activity. There would be
movement in the bushes, and I’d jump into them because I
know there might be a lizard or a mouse in there. I’m
quite the hunter. Score for the day; one mouse and one
lizard. My handler told me all about the spring flowers; I
tried to show interest, but unless there was a lizard next to
the plant, what interest would I really have.

Three Words to Describe Me are:
Exuberant, friendly and active.

Notes from My Walker:
This is a great hiking buddy. He loves being in the
outdoors. He was easy to handle and friendly toward
people and non-reactive toward other dogs. He wasn’t
affectionate until we had worn him out on the hike, and
at that point he was all about giving kisses to show his
appreciation.
