Last week SVPP Dog Day Out Notes:
Today was the best day ever! I had a fantastic dog day out with my awesome handler volunteer. We went on a 5-mile hike at Bernal Ranch Hiking Trail, and it was tail-wagging amazing!
Three Words to Describe Me are: Sweetheart, Loving, Affectionate
Notes from My Walker: Diamond is an absolute gem! Putting the harness on her was a breeze – no issues at all. She's super sweet and had no problem in the car, making our journey together smooth and enjoyable. We hit the trails for a hike, and Diamond was in her element, taking in all the interesting scents along the way. She's a nature enthusiast and seemed to love every moment of our outdoor adventure. Diamond knows basic commands like sit, making her not only sweet but also well-behaved. This lovely pup is incredibly affectionate and loves to be close – a true companion at heart. On the leash, she did pretty well, showing good manners during our stroll. While we didn't encounter any other dogs on the trail, Diamond seemed fine around people, displaying a friendly and easygoing demeanor. In my experience, Diamond is a great dog. I didn't observe any issues with her behavior, and I believe she would make a wonderful addition to someone's life.

SVPP Dog Day Out Notes:
Today I: went to Jeffery Fontana Park and had so much fun! I was a little nervous getting into the car, but once I was in, I enjoyed sniffing out the window at all of the new smells!
Three Words to Describe Me are: Sweet, Affectionate, Friendly
Notes from My Walker: This was Diamond’s first Dog Day Out! She was amazing and so easy. She was a little nervous getting in the car at first, poor girl hasn’t been in a car in a long time, but once in she was eager to go on our adventure. She loved to sniff everything and had no issues passing dogs on our walk, even one that growled at her! She walked great on a leash and checked in with me often. We did a little over 3 miles and then hung out in the grass for a little and she did some silly, happy zoomies. She passed out in the car on the way back after a pup cup! Diamond is very affectionate, she loves to press against you and ask for pets. She still enjoys long walks, but doesn’t have crazy puppy energy, she’s kind of perfect! She’d make an amazing addition to someone’s home.
