DOG DAY OUT REPORT

Location: Santa Teresa Park - 5-mile hike and Outing at Vitality Bowl
Three Words to Describe Me are: Friendly, Strong, Playful
Notes from My Walker: During our first meeting, Arrow was nervous. However, he was easy to harness and ready to go. He handled the ride to the hiking trail well. Once on the trail, he headed straight for the grass, where he enjoyed eating it. Arrow thoroughly enjoyed exploring everything along the trail.
We played tug of war with a rope toy and playing fetch; remarkably, he caught every throw. During a rest on the grass, he rested his head on my leg, indicating his fondness. With more time together, I believe he'll continue to trust me more. At Vitality Bowl, he mostly lay down, with only a few moments of getting up to check out dogs that walked by.

In conclusion, for our first outing together, Arrow performed admirably. While his leash skills could use improvement, as he tends to pull and doesn't seem to know basic commands like "sit," I'm confident that with a little training he'll progress in no time. During our hike, we encountered people and dogs, and he didn't show any signs of reactivity. Arrow is definitely ready for adoption. Hope to spend more time with him!
