Say "Aloha" to Odie! This 11-year-old boy needs a hero to spend the rest of his life with. Odie was recently diagnosed with protein-losing nephropathy (PLN), a disorder that unfortunately means Odie might not have much time left. The average time most dogs live after diagnosis is only a few months, though some go on for a few years. However long he has left, we want Odie to live it up and be in a home of his own with people who love him. Thankfully, as a dog, Odie is unaware of any of this. He's still as happy as ever and wants to keep playing fetch, going on walks, and enjoying every moment. It will take a special person to adopt Odie, but Odie is a special dog. He'll love you for the rest of his life. Come adopt Odie, and give him the love he so deserves. * Odie would do best as the only dog in the home. * He's a little old man who's not crazy about small children. Teens and adults only, please! * We're not sure how Odie feels about cats. We recommend slow introductions. * Odie has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He eats a special kidney food, and he'll receive a bag to go home with him. He also has a large, benign fatty lump on his chest and needs to lose around 10 pounds. |
