I am a neutered male, black and white Australian Cattle Dog and Pit Bull Terrier.

I weigh approximately 52.50 lbs.

The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 7 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Mar 20, 2024 and am ready to go home today!

I am in Kennel D158.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Vaquero is Spanish for “cowboy”, and this little buckaroo is ready to ride out of the shelter with you today! He’s young, energetic, and all the things a cattle dog should be- smart, athletic, and focused! He’d like to leave the PACC behind for a life of adventure with you, and he promises to be the best sidekick ever. If you can give Vaquero a bit of training and a job to do, he’ll git ‘er done! Vaquero has shared his kennel and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He loves people more than anything, so mostly hung out with the handlers in the yard. Vaquero would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit, and breed experience is always a plus with cattle dogs! Saddle up and ask about Vaquero today!
