Lizzi and Loki are a bonded pair of senior friends who are looking for a home together. These two gentle seniors need to find a soft place to land- the shelter is no place for senior pets!! Lizzi and Loki were brought to PACC by an animal protection officer. The PACC clinic is taking great care of them as they seem to have not had any vet care in quite some time. Loki has valley fever and Lizzi has some old lady aches and pains, so they need a family committed to their long-term care.
While Lizzi and Loki are on the shy side, they are very tolerant of handling and appreciate spending quiet time with their volunteer friends. Lizzi enjoys gentle pets and scratches, and Loki is learning about those too. Lizzi and Loki are both vulnerable due to their age and condition, and were unsure about other dogs during their playgroup evaluations. They take comfort from one another, but need to meet any other resident dogs prior to heading home.
Lizzi and Loki will do best in a calm home with a patient and understanding family who can help them gain confidence and who will make sure they get the medical care they need.
