Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Jamie is housetrained. He is good with other dogs who are not aggressive. He loves my recently adopted dog Bella and they both get along well together. Jamie is a little dog-reactive when walking but stops on command and with a little restraint on his leash. He likes to chase lizards and rabbits in my back yard and when walking. While walking Jamie, he is very friendly to adults and children. He also is very friendly to people who visit my home.

Jamie does very well on a slip-leash and responds well to commands such as NO, SIT, COME. He is easy to train if the proper time is spent with him and he loves treats while learning.

Jamie's Characteristics:

Jamie is very affectionate, loves to sleep or lay by me, and likes to put his head on my lap for attention. When indoors, Jamie is very calm and friendly. He follows me around when I move to other rooms and lays close to me. I have not tried to use any toys yet so I don't know if he likes them or not. His activity level is moderate and needs to be walked twice daily or let run loose in large, enclosed back yard with supervision. He is very agile and can jump fences that are 5-7 feet tall. He is no problem at night when I sleep. He sleeps on the floor or dog bed in my bedroom with my other dog and doesn't wake me up early (he gets up when I get up around 7:30am. Jamie has a cute way of showing his attention to me when I get out of bed in the mornings by putting his head in my lap and crying lightly!

When I look into Jamie's eyes, I believe he is telling me "Thank you so much for taking care of me and giving me a good home!"

The best adjectives I can think of that describes Jamie are friendly, loving, affectionate, calm and happy. These are shown by the things I have already mentioned.
He is also energetic at times and needs his exercise (as we all do!!).

Jamie's best qualities are his happiness and calmness, friendliness, along with his loving to have his neck rubbed and back combed.
