If you are looking for a companion, please check out Mud Puppy.
Car rides...check! You don't like walks... check! She loves investigating the backyard.
Binge watch shows, curled up on the couch... check!
My sweet senior foster, Mud Puppy is not dirty. She came with the name. We call her "Puppy".
*Playful once she is comfortable. Not a fan of toys, so that alone saves you a bundle!
*Gets along with my dogs, once she was comfortable, but would prefer no competition for your love.
*She would do best around respectful, patient, older children or just adults. She is not a fan of quick movements. Proper introductions in a calm setting are recommended.
*She is watchful, due to one eye. Having a blind spot makes her vigilant and cautious, and startles easily. She just wants to be sure she is safe, so she moves when someone comes near. I will speak her name while approaching and she will lift her head and wag her adorable tail.
* I love her tail and kisses, and her enthusiasm for affection. She will seek it out. Loves treats and string cheese. Crate trained for treat or mealtime. She has become comfortable napping in her crate. She is food and treat motivated. I believe training would be quicker if she was the only dog, and doesn't have to watch for safety, or being stepped on,
She loves having her back end scratched. And her neck and shoulders massaged.
She leashes up fine, but I hope you don't want to go anywhere! She is not leash trained.
We are working on basic commands. Sit, Stay, Come.
She is a homebody. Loves the couch, doggie bed.
She makes the funniest grunting sounds to get your attention. She cracks me up.
