Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Milo is a special boy. He is loving and affectionate and only wants to be right by your side. Milo had a rough start and was owned by someone who was hardly home, did not provide the nourishment he required and was not right for him.
Once we put the weight he needed back on him and gave him the attention he deserved, he blossomed into a very sweet companian dog. He should go to a home where his new owner is home often as he has major seperation issues. He would do best in a work from home situation (a permanant one though, not just Covid-temp work from home)
Milo gets very frightened of loud noises like fireworks. He needs to feel secure and be able to live in the house with his owners and not outside. He is not crazy about other animals and should be the only pet for now. He will make a wonderful friend and be by your side when you most need him
I am a loving dog. I always love to be near my humans. Especially the ladies. Sometimes I like my butt scratched (okay really, I liked my butt scratched always). I like to eat in the morning and at night. I like to have a walk in the morning and at night. Sometimes I need to go out midday for a pee break.
My farts embarrass me and I If I do let one - or many - out I will get up and walk away as if to say, "that wasn't me" before returning to sit on one of my many blankets or beds.
I currently have one favorite bone to chew and two favorite toys to play with.
If my human - dog forbid - leaves the apartment, I am always excited to have them back and will wag my tail and present my toy to them. This is good, as it prevents my happiness from overflowing and nipping my human on their arm. I also will sit if you tell me to before you open the door. I like to smell all the packages and takeout that come through the door for quality control.
Loud noises make me nervous and I like to find a cool, dark corner to take some time to calm down in. Right now, my favorite spots include the bathroom and a corner in my human's room. During these times I sometimes like to be as close to my human as possible.
I am human friendly, but not with other dogs. I didn't get much time with other animals in my home before. I need to be the only one.
Cats are the enemy. As well as squirrels. They are just tree cats.
I am a relaxed dog and like to sleep most of the day. I love treats
