Meet Darius, the fun-loving pup known to his friends as "Love Bomb". Want a 58 pound lap dog? Check! Love being covered in Pittie kisses? Check check!! Looking for your faithful BFF? Check check CHECK!!! This social butterfly loves making new friends, both human and canine. He is always up for a game of fetch, a sniffy adventure or a dip in the kiddie pool! With his infectious joy and eagerness to please, he's sure to brighten your day. He is both people friendly AND dog social, and has participated in playgroups with other dogs! 

The family who found Darius and spent time with him prior to bringing him to the shelter said that Darius was a total sweetheart, attached quickly to the dad/man who found him, did fine with the family's small Doxie mix, was friendly with the family's 3-year-old boy child, and had no potty accidents in their apartment. He would sit and lie down when asked, and he listened well to them.
Unfortunately, Darius does not show very well in his shelter kennel. We often find that the most social of our dogs do the worst in a kennel environment as the isolation of shelter life is very stressful to them. 
Ask to meet Darius in a play yard and you will see his adorable personality shine through. 





To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
