RESCUE ONLY DEADLINE
3PM 05/14/24

Name: Pancho

Animal ID: A837398

Age: 2 years

Weight: 78.40 lbs

About: Meet Pancho, the two-year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as his bark! Pancho is a handsome and intelligent pup looking to find his FUR-ever home through a partnered rescue group. Pancho is on a deadline and will need to find placement before 3pm on May 14th, 2024.

Pancho has the potential to fear bite, which means it's essential for him to have patient and understanding owners who can help him build trust and confidence. He was found as a stray and brought into a home where he had a bite incident in the past when someone walked past him in the yard and did attempt to bite at the officer in the field as well.

In addition to his fear-related behavior, Pancho also snapped at a handler in the shelter when they approached him in the play yard. Due to this behavior, it's crucial for his new family to approach him with patience and respect his boundaries. Pancho may be selective of his people and who he is comfortable with and will need to meet all family members in the home.

Pancho will need to find placement with a partnered rescue group before 3pm on 5/14/24. If you are interested in meeting Pancho, you MUST come to PACC and meet with a councilor to go over his history and then meet him in a yard before going home. PACC will then send your information to partnered rescue groups, it is at the rescue groups discretion if they want to pull Pancho for you to foster or adopt.
