EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE
3PM SUNDAY APRIL 14, 2024
Name: Kamila
Animal ID: 835395
Age: 2 years
Weight: 57 lbs

This is Kamila, a sweet yellow lab mix that has had a rough past but is looking for a loving future. Kamila will need to find placement either with a foster or and adopter through PACC before 3pm on Sunday April 14, 2024. She came in with a group of dogs that were out at large and unfortunately fatally injured a small dog and possibly bit someone. This girl just has a bad rap, she is one of the sweetest gals at the shelter and just loves love!

When she went to playgroup, she was nervous with the dogs she was not familiar with, she did not want to greet the other dogs and was not wanting the dogs to approach her either but did let them know appropriately. We do recommend that she meet with all other dogs in the home that are similar in size or larger to ensure it's a great fit.

Handling Kamila was a joy! She was great when leashing up and was great at walking, she was non dog reactive and only pulled slightly. She does not know any commands but seems to be a fast learner with learning ‘sit”. She just wanted attention and treats, one trick she does know is how to catch treats and she never misses!
