Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Tuna is the sweetest senior gal at PACC! She’s a gentle old lady who would love to leave the noisy shelter behind for a comfy retirement home where she can relax her days away. Here’s what some of Tuna’s friends at the shelter have said:

“I met Tuna today and she`s such a delightful gal. She`s very friendly, sweet, gentle, tolerant, and loving. As soon as I entered her kennel, her tail immediately started wagging and she came over and rubbed right against me for petting. She thinks she`s a lap dog! She was treat- motivated and quickly showed me that she can sit and give both paws. She`s easy to leash up and walk (she is a bit weak in the back end due to arthritis, so we went slow). We met a few people in the lobby while out walking and she was social, happy, and well-behaved with all of them. She definitely loves being around people and is a very nice girl.”

“The first thing I noticed about Tuna is her enthusiasm and willingness to be your new best friend, quickly followed by how loving and affectionate she is. She loves nothing more than to cuddle up to you and try and fit in your lap! In a word, she’s DELIGHTFUL! She also gives the best kisses!”

Tuna has been social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She seems to be more of a fan of the fellas, so would like to meet any resident female dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. If you can give Tuna the soft and easy retirement life she deserves, please ask to meet her today!!
