Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Haven is a young girl looking for her own safe haven! She was found as a pregnant stray and spent four months in her finder’s home. She is a cautious and timid girl who needs time to warm up to new people, but who has a gentle and loving nature when she feels safe. She did well with young kids in the home and with the resident extra-large dog. Her people described her as affectionate and sweet once she is settled and said she loves to be near her humans, loves toys, and is playful.

At the shelter Haven shares her kennel with a young rowdy pup and has been easygoing and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Haven needs continued help from her future family to build confidence and to learn all the important doggy skills she can. Please ask to meet this sensitive sweetheart today!
