Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Apollo is a very sweet middle-aged guy who is a great example of giving a dog time to feel safe and comfortable. When he first arrived at the shelter, he didn’t even want to go out on a walk. Fast forward to today and Apollo loves his time out of the kennel and his human friends!

Apollo lived in one home his entire life and we would love to get him into a new loving home environment as soon as possible. He was reportedly housebroken in his former home and loves toys. Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“Cutie Apollo is a bit shy but very nice. We took him and his kennelmate to the play yard twice last week and he did well. Easy to leash up, doesn`t pull, and not reactive. He also enjoyed getting pets.”

Apollo has mostly kept to himself when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet this very good boy today!!
