Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Wilbur is a very sweet boy who lived on one home his whole young life before landing at the shelter. In fact, he was born to another dog in that home- a reminder to always spay and neuter your pets to keep dogs out of the shelter system!! In his prior home Wilbur reportedly did well with kids, small and large dogs, and even cats. He was described by his people as playful and affectionate. Here’s what his friends at the shelter have said:

“I walked Wilbur and he was great. He was eager to get outside to potty. After our walk we returned to the kennel and I left him with a treat and a booty rub. He is a sweet boy who needs some confidence building.”

“Wilbur is a slightly shy guy who is working on his confidence. Throughout our time together, he became more comfortable. Wilbur seems like a very sweet guy who wants to feel comfortable but isn`t always sure how.”

“Wilbur is a sensitive guy but he`s really sweet. He is getting more comfortable and accepted pets.”

Wilbur shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and appropriate when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit and is looking for a home with a secure yard to keep him safe and sound. If you can help this sensitive young pup feel safe and build confidence, ask to meet him today!!
