Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Chamoy is a big old Shepherd with a calm, mellow personality. Here’s what volunteers have said about him:

“Chamoy was very well-behaved in the yard today, mostly staying by my side in hopes of getting some treats. He is really gentle and comfortable with affection. He seems very tolerant and people oriented. He is a lovely dog.”

“Chamoy was mild-mannered and easygoing when I met him today. He waited politely at his kennel door, immediately sniffing my shoes once I entered his kennel. A gentle giant. Whenever I paused during our walk, he would stand calmly by my side, occasionally pressing close, as he kept an eye on the horizon. He’s a super easy walker!”

During a very brief adoption Chamoy seemed to do well with cats and was described as independent and playful. He also loves toys and peanut butter!

Chamoy shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Chamoy today!!
