EMERGENCY PLACMENT DEADLINE 3PM Thursday, April 17th

Name: Pepper
Animal ID: A831095
Age: 2 years 7 mos
Weight: 48.0 lbs.

This Pepper is more sweet than spicy- she is a beautiful girl looking for a second chance! This lovely pitator tot will need to find placement with a foster or an adopter before 3pm on Thursday April 18th, 2024.

Pepper came to the shelter with two other dogs who she shares her kennel with, however they cannot leave the shelter together. She is shy but sweet, warming up to people who show her kindness and patience. She is very deserving of a loving, supportive home where she can build confidence and work on her basic doggy skills at her own pace. In the short time that Pepper has been at the shelter, volunteers have fallen in love with her, describing she and her family members as sweet and softspoken pups.

When meeting other dogs in playgroup Pepper was a bit nervous and showed that she is people- oriented, preferring to stay near the handlers in the yard. She was easygoing overall and will likely do best with dogs who give her space. A meet and greet with any resident dogs is always a good idea!

Pepper will need a secure yard and will need to be monitored when she is spending time outside due to a history of jumping on items and going over an 8 ft fence. Unfortunately, the result of jumping out of her yard and into the neighbor’s yard did end with a pug being fatally injured.

If you are interested in meeting Pepper, please come to PACC before 3pm on April 18th, 2024 to see if you are the right fit for her!
