Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Suzette is a sweet little mini hippo looking for a new watering hole! This pittypotamus is as cute as they come, and twice as sweet! Suzette spent several weeks in a foster home and we learned so much about her!

- She did great with a 13 year old kiddo
- She’s a serious foodie and lets you know when it’s time for her to eat
- She is well- behaved when left home alone
- She was comfortable sleeping in a crate at night
- She is housebroken
- She is friendly and smart and knows sit, shake, and stay (sometimes)

Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“First time meeting Suzette today, and I immediately fell in love with her. She is just the sweetest, gentlest little lady. She was lying on her bed when I entered her kennel but got up and approached me with a friendly face and wagging tail. She has a cute little trot and enjoyed sniffing all along her walk. She took treats gently and let me pet her. I look forward to spending more time with this sweetie!”

Suzette shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you have a pygmy hippo- sized nook in your house, please ask to meet Suzette today!!
