Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Bixy is a lady who knows what she wants! She wants to take things at her own pace and get to know people before she gives them her heart. If you can give her that respect and a little bit of time, Bixy has a huge amount of love to share! This sweet, sensitive girl is getting used to the routine in the shelter and is becoming more and more comfortable each day. But… nothing beats a loving home, and that’s what Bixy deserves! Here’s what volunteers at the shelter have said:

“Bixy is a sweet and beautiful dog. She ate some cheese while I was in the kennel and I was able to pick up her leash. On the walk she enjoyed sniffing around a bit.”

“Today Bixy made great eye contact, gave me a little tail wag, and was ready to go for a walk. She took cheese from my hand and explored the park with a relaxed body.”

Bixy shares her kennel with another PACC pup and seems to appreciate and take comfort from having a friend. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home- a calm, confident buddy may help her tremendously in her future home. Ask about this special girl today!
