Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
The shelter can be a pretty overwhelming place, especially for a young pup like Pockets. Pockets lived in one home his whole puppyhood, so coming to the shelter was a pretty big shake up! This cute cattle dog was very uncertain about all the shelter raucous when he first arrived, but he’s been building confidence and is braver with every passing day. All he needs now is you- he’d love to be back in a home of his very own! In his former home Pockets did well with kids and other dogs. His former people said that he’s playful, loves toys, and loves to play with other dogs. No cats though please! Here’s what one volunteer said about Pockets:

“Pockets was a little shy, but once we got out of kennel he was an easy walker. He walked with a loose leash for most of the walk, occasionally doing a mini zoomie in his excitement. Sweet boy.”

Pockets shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Like any puppy, he’ll benefit from structure and training in his future home. Ask to meet Pockets today!!
