Sometimes a name just says it all, and that’s the case here! You can’t hope to find a bigger sweetheart than Sweetheart!! Here’s what volunteers have said about this pretty pooch:

“I took Sweetheart on a day trip yesterday and we had such a great time! First we took a little hike at Greasewood Park. She would make a great hiking buddy for those who enjoy shorter or slower hikes, as she prefers to take her time and soak in the scenery. Then we drove through Starbucks and got a pup cup, which she consumed very politely. We ended our afternoon strolling around Reid Park. We stopped every so often to sit and watch the ducks, and Sweetheart would lean into me when I pet her. She was also very happy to meet new people at the park! Sweetheart was such a great walker throughout the whole day - she was usually right by my side and looked up at me very often for reassurance. She also enjoyed riding in the car. By the time we got back to PACC, she had fallen asleep in the back seat and was snoring. Sweetheart is the best!”

“Sweetheart was very excited to leave her kennel but was easy to leash and checked back with me often. When I asked for a sit she gave me an impeccable one and then waited patiently to receive her treat, which she took nicely. She also made great eye contact and listened well. She was a great companion and really lived up to her name!”

Sweetheart was found as a stray and her finder said she was very sweet during her time with them. What else would she be?! She’s been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Sweetheart today!!
