EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE DUE TO BEHAVIOR 3PM 04/05/24
Name: Diesel
Animal ID: A828892
Age: 5 years
Weight: 53 lbs.
About: Meet Diesel. Diesel is a happy boy who would love to scoot right in on your couch next to you for some Netflix and snuggles. Diesel will need to find his FUR-EVER couch before 3pm on Friday April 5, 2024. He is available for foster or adoption through PACC.

Diesel first came to PACC in January 2024 on a bite quarantine. He got loose from his owner, the victim was walking by, and Diesel jumped up and bit them on the elbow. His owner surrendered to him to PACC, and he was adopted almost a month after being in the shelter. Unfortunately, Diesel was surrendered again to the shelter for another bite. Diesel bit the 17-year-old in the home, when hugging their father. Diesel jumped up and bit the 17-year-old on the hand.

While in the shelter Diesel has gone into playgroups with other dogs, he was social, he engaged in play, he was overall easy going.

Diesel will do best in a home with one or two people and will need to be managed when visitors enter the home or be put in a crate or separate room. He will need some help with training for his resource guarding of his people.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Diesel, please COME TO PACC and ask to meet him. Before going into foster care or being adopted, ALL interested parties MUST come to PACC and meet him to be sure they are the right fit for Diesel.
