Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Oswald is a super handsome big brindle boy who lived on one home his whole life prior to being surrendered to the shelter. Oswald was housebroken and crate trained in his prior home and was described by his people as being independent. He walks well on leash and loves to take plenty of time to sniff along the way. Here’s what one volunteer said about him:

“Oswald is a gentle giant- easy to handle and doesn't pull on leash. I took him out late the in morning and his neighbors were barking, but Oswald was nice and calm. He was curious about other people and animals in the park but did not bark and enjoyed being pet. He's a sweet boy.”

When meeting other dogs in playgroup Oswald explored the play yard and was tolerant, social, and playful with the other pups. He also enjoyed dipping his toes in the doggy pool. Oswald will benefit from enrichment and training in his future home. He needs slow introductions to new people and should have a safe space of his own, such as a crate. Please ask to meet this handsome hunk today!
