Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Bugs Bunny is a handsome boy who came to PACC along with several other family members. These pups need a bit of help building confidence as they didn’t get adequate socialization in their former home. Bugs Bunny is timid but has made progress in the shelter, walking on leash and accepting affection from trusted volunteers. Here’s what one of them said:

“Bugs Bunny arrived very scared and shut down from a home with multiple other undersocialized dogs. He clearly didn't know how to walk on a leash but has picked that up quickly. Loud sounds and surprises from behind are still a little shocking but he handles them a little better each day. Although not yet openly seeking affection, if you sit down with him he will allow touch and petting and it seems to help calm him at times. He is making steady progress and hopefully with another confident dog around he will make great progress.”

Bugs Bunny shares his kennel with a new furry friend and has been tolerant though a bit overwhelmed when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you have a quiet, supportive environment and can help Bugs Bunny, please ask about him today!! This pooch is only a year old so has all the potential in the world to become wonderful companion with a little love and patience!!
