Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Jessi is a sweet, sensitive lady who has valley fever and needs a foster or an adopter committed to her long term care. Valley fever is typically very manageable once a pup is on the right medical regimen, and PACC is figuring that out for this precious pooch! Jessi can be shy and may take some time to open up. Here’s what volunteers have said about her:

“Jessi was very sweet but nervous in her kennel. She went to a yard with her kennelmate and was very affectionate to myself and another volunteer. She offered licks and accepted pets from me, leaning into my legs to enjoy them. I have not been able to stop thinking about her. She is so sweet. She deserves a soft landing!”

“Jessi has valley fever but is finally putting on a little weight with treatment. She is also opening up and showing more of her precious personality. She comes to the front of the kennel and is easy to leash. She recently met a new friend to help her break even farther out of her shell. Such a sweet and loving girl that will recover from valley fever much better in a home.”

Jessi shares her kennel with a furry friend and has been a bit nervous but social, tolerant, and easygoing overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Jessi today!!
