Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Gavin is a smiley young boy who thinks life in the noisy shelter leaves a lot to be desired. He’d love to find an active family who will give him a life of adventure (and a life full of cuddles). Here’s what his volunteer friends have said about him:

“Gavin is such a happy puppy. He loves treats and is a sweet guy who's eager to learn and to please.”

“Gavin is a big puppy. He loves to run, walk on the tires in the play yard, chase a ball, and play with toys. He is easily motivated by treats and affection.”

“I took Gavin on a day trip. He rides well in the car and is calm and quiet. First stop, Reid Park to run around and play. Gavin can be reactive to other dogs so we made sure to keep a distance. He really enjoyed just walking around and chasing the ball. Then we went to Cane’s and got some chicken. Gavin was very polite around the food and sat by the table.”

Gavin has been housebroken in prior homes and loved to play fetch and tug. He has positive history with kiddos and has been describe by his foster as friendly, warm, and sweet. Here’s what his former fosters have said:

“Gavin is the sweetest dog. He loves to give kisses and he loves to cuddle. He gets the zoomies and entertains himself. He is such a sweet boy, and any family would be lucky to have him.”

"Gavin is a very sweet and affectionate dog who loves to play. He was a pleasure to be around, and a good dog. He was very affectionate and seems to bond with people quickly.”

Gavin would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit and is looking for a home without cats. He’s an energetic boy who will thrive with training, routine, and love. Ask to meet Gavin today!!
