If you like things that are a little bit quirky- like Salvador Dali’s surrealist paintings for example, meet Salvador!! Salvador is a cute pup who came to PACC with some cactus in his snoot and a noticeable head tilt. The cactus is gone but his head tilt remains (though it’s hardly noticeable these days)- a cute and quirky feature that sure doesn’t slow Salvador down one bit! Here’s what volunteers have said about this playful pooch:

“Knowing that Salvador likes to chase tennis balls, I took him to the play yard. This boy would keep running forever! He also enjoyed going on a walk, carrying his ball in his mouth. Pleasure to be with.”

“Since my time with Salvador usually involves playing with a tennis ball, I decided to take him for a walk without one today. He is a good loose leash walker at a steady brisk pace. We sat down and he was quite affectionate. He rolled over and clearly enjoyed belly rubs. He sat nicely and gave paws for treats, too.”

“I often take Salvador to a play yard for a game of fetch. He always brings it back and will drop it for another one. That’s all it takes to make him happy!”

“Salvador was so excited to get out of the kennel and go for a walk. We ended up in the play yard and he’s just a happy, energetic puppy. Chasing balls and trading his ball for a treat. He has a curious head tilt that is really endearing. Adorable pup.”

Salvador has shared his kennel with a variety of furry friends and has been very social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He tends to prefer lady friends over the fellas, so would like to meet any resident male dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Salvador today!
