Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Apollo is handsome hunk who first found himself at the shelter in late 2023. He was adopted and spent a couple of months in a home where he reportedly did well with other large dogs and kids seven and older. His adopters said that Apollo was housebroken, loves toys, knows tricks and is a playful boy who loves to near his people. Here’s what volunteers have said about Apollo:

“Apollo is a very friendly dog and is easy to leash and walk. He knows sit, lie down and even shake. He loves to be petted and is a big baby.”

“Apollo is a sweet boy who walks well on leash. He loves catching treats in the air (and does so like an expert). He shares his kennel with a very energetic pup and is extremely tolerant of her. He just wants attention and treats.”

Apollo would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. He’s ready to leave the shelter behind today- please ask to meet him!
