If you’re looking for a couch potato to snooze the day away by your side, swipe left. BUT! If you’re looking for an active, playful, and adventurous sidekick… meet Bonita!! Bonita is an accurate name for this very pretty young pooch, but she has so much more to offer than her good looks. Bonita is a friendly, silly girl who loves sniffing her way through the park, romping around the play yard, and rolling in the grass. Here’s what volunteers have said about her:

“Bonita is a very energetic, very fun girl. She LOVES to run and while she needs a bit of training first, would make a great running or hiking buddy. I often take her to a play yard and she is so fun to watch. If she manages to find a toy that’s been left behind, she grabs it and the game is on! She’ll run around and around, tossing the toy to herself and catching it in the air, shaking it, burying it, digging it up… it’s hilarious and her joy is infectious. She also loves to play with her kennelmate- chasing and being chased until they wear each other out. In an active home, I really think this girl will thrive!!”

“Bonita was excited in kennel as usual, but easy to leash. Bonita is a spunky girl who needs a lot of exercise; she would be a great hiking buddy. She was excited to be outside and to have some freedom. She sat nicely for treats and took them nicely from my hand.”

“Bonita was very excited to go on her first walk of the day. She has an adorable little strut on her walk. She’s full of exuberance and enthusiasm to explore the world around her. She sits on command and takes treats nicely from my hand. Bonita is a fun little partner!”

Bonita came to PACC with another dog and shares her kennel with a new friend these days. During her most recent playgroup evaluation with other dogs, she was social and playful. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Bonita today!!
